  • Abigail Mervar, MS, CCC-SLP

    Owner and Speech-Language Pathologist

    Since 2015 Abigail has provided speech-language services to the pediatric population in various settings including homes, daycares and clinic settings. She has experience and knowledge in a variety of speech-language delays and disorders. Abigail attended East Carolina University for her undergraduate and graduate studies. She obtained her Master’s degree in 2015 in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Abigail enjoys spending time with family at the lake or going to East Carolina University football games…Go Pirates!

  • Carly Spainhour, MA, CCC-SLP

    Speech-Language Pathologist

    Carly earned her B. S. in Exercise Science from UNC Charlotte and her M.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from UNC Greensboro. She has worked with patients ranging from 1 to 10 years of age since 2020 with extensive knowledge and experience treating early intervention. Carly has provided therapy in homes, clinic settings and daycares.

    Carly enjoys going to the beach and looking for shark teeth, attending football games, traveling and spending time with her friends/family.

  • Amity Berrier, SLP-Assistant

    Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

    Amity graduated with honors from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute in 2018. Ever since, she has truly enjoyed working with the pediatric population in various settings - including daycares, in-home, and clinic based. Her favorite part about her job is helping her clients gain confidence by finding their voice and meeting their goals. In her free time, she loves watching football, attending concerts, and spending time with her son, Parker.

  • Erin Hennessee, MS, CCC-SLP

    Speech-Language Pathologist

    Erin completed her undergrad degree at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and earned her MS in Communication Sciences and Disorders at North Carolina Central University. She has experience with a variety of pediatric speech and language delays and disorders. Erin enjoys being outside, hanging with her dog Macy and going to Wilmington.

  • Abby Jerina, MS, CCC-SLP

    Abby attended Appalachian State University for undergraduate and graduate studies and obtained her BS in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2019 and her MS in Speech-Language Pathology in 2021. She has since worked with pediatrics aged preschool to early middle school. She has previous experience in the school system, serving students in a variety of regular education, life-skills, and preschool classrooms with various communication needs. In her free time, she enjoys reading on her Kindle, cooking with her husband, and spending time with her 4 cats and 1 dog!

  • Laci Hill, MA, CF-SLP

    Laci earned her B.A. in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her M.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has wanted to be an SLP since she was 8 years old! She has experience working with a wide variety of ages and speech-language delays and disorders within the pediatric population. Laci enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and baking, and cheering on the Tar Heels at various sporting events.

    Kim Pendry

    Office Administrator

    Meet Kim, our Office Administrator extraordinaire! She is the backbone of our operations, ensuring every administrative task runs seamlessly. From greeting visitors with a warm smile to managing day-to-day logistics, she keeps our office running. Kim plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for our team and clients alike.

    Kim is a retired high school math teacher. Outside of the office, Kim enjoys spending time with her family and going to NCSU games. She knows all things Disney and has an adorable dog named Moose.
